Slow Furl, Architectural Installation, A collaboration between Mette Ramsgard Thomsen and Karin Bech, Lighthouse, Brighton, 2008
Slow Furl is a room size textile installation that acts and reacts on its inhabitation. As guests enter and move within the environment, the skin moves imperceptibly creating new cavities and spaces, revealing slits and apertures. This clip shows one frame a minute over one hour sped up 200 times for our perception.
